I absolutely loved Minna & Nathan's maternity session, and I am so glad we could get some portraits with their wonderful dog, Lucky Bear. This SE Portland maternity session was filled with lots of joking, laughter, and gorgeous sunset light.

A beautiful mix of a gorgeous girl with a more beautiful heart, a lovely location, and the most perfect sunrise light we could've asked for! We started at sunrise and the Rose Gardens, and then we moved down to NW 23rd and ended at Barista! I'm so glad I could help make your senior photo vision come to life, Piper! Congrats Class of 2015!

I feel so blessed to be able to photograph my beautiful niece, Amelia, along with her parents. Doing newborn sessions are so sweet and make me remember when my little one was brand new. It's so relaxing to be able to photograph newborns in their own environment, and I get to capture all the little details parents have been preparing. Amelia's mom, April, created several pieces of custom artwork for the nursery.

Daddy's Girl... here is an image of Amelia in Daddy's hands. And, in case you're not a "Doctor Who" (Dad's favorite) fan, Amelia's name was inspired by the show, and the "Tardis" (Blue Police Call Box) is a major element from the show.

Melissa & Dan said "I Do" at one of my favorite locations: McMenamins Edgefield. I adored the sweetness of their fairytale theme, and Melissa looked just like a princess in her Cinderella inspired gown.

Before photos and the wedding began, Melissa & Dan slipped away to the garden for a private first look filled with joyful tears. 

The ceremony & reception took place in the beautiful Blackberry Hall.

While Alaina and Mike will be saying their vows on a beach in Kauai (thanks for the invite--I'm so excited!!), we decided an engagement session on their homestead would be quite fitting for the soon-to-be Mr. & Mrs. We spent this sunrise session strolling through the orchard and garden, as well as playing on some of the farm equipment. I couldn't be happier for you two, nor could I be more excited for your wedding this fall!
